Demand excellence of yourself before others. No matter how you acquired the leadership position, demand excellence.
Whether you are the community sports team volunteer coach, a corporate human resources manager, CEO, school leader, church minister, or elected official, adopt an attitude of excellence.
We rarely discuss the attitude of leaders… there’s expectation that positive outlook is requisite for the role. I offer the assertion that the attitude of our leadership is the primary ingredient that flavors our personality. It is not even plausible that negativity would be a part of a leader’s attitude.
If operating in humility is a required trait for leaders, then a positive attitude is just as non-negotiable. Demand excellence!
